The Deputy National Chairman of Ohaneze Ndigbo and one-time senator of
the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen. Offia Nwali, was found dead inside
a pond at the back of his home in Ameka Community, Ezra South local
government area of Ebonyi State on Saturday, May 21st.See another photo after the cut.....
The 74 year old
former senator, was found dead by his relatives. The spokesperson of the
Ebonyi state police command, ASP George Okafor while confirming the
report, said inquiries are ongoing as to determine whether he was
killed and his corpse dumped inside the pond or whether he drowned in
the pond.
